Dale Raines

Lawrence Dale Raines, passed Feb. 10, 2026. Dale Raines was born on Jan. 25, 1924 in Greenfield, MO, and was the youngest of eight children, born to Reverend F.B. Raines and Nora Frances McDonald Raines.Dale married Betty Jo Ellingsworth, on the 17th day of November, 1945.Dale served his country as a U.S. Marines. He later worked in maintenance and installation for Southwestern Bell. Dale Raines lived 102 years and 17 days.

Dale is survived by a nephew, Ben Brite of Grain Valley, MO and a niece, Marilyn Raines of Springfield.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents.

A committal service with military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
