Cynthia Thompson

            Cynthia Jean Thompson, age 70 of Nixa, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2023.  She was born October 27, 1952 in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Ernest and Dorothy (King) Buttner.

            Cynthia will be remembered for her kindness.  She loved to spoil all those around her.  Cynthia shared her love of food and wine with family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Cynthia also enjoyed reading, gardening and puzzles.  

            Cynthia will be lovingly remembered by her children, Keith Smith and Keri Anne Faust; her grandchildren, Eric Smith, Zach Smith, Matt Smith, Kylee Faust, and Kanyon Faust; her brother Gary Buttner; and best friend forever, Judy Haim.

            Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Randy Thompson; and a daughter, Gayle Wesley.

            Cremation rites will be accorded by Adams Crematory and arrangements are under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.

            A remembrance of life was held.
