Cheryl Darlene Willbanks

Cheryl Darlene Willbanks, age 76 of Nixa, passed away October 13, 2021. She was born August 13, 1945 in Temple, Texas, the daughter of George E. and Catherine (Slocum) Davis. Cheryl was a member of Nixa First Assembly of God. She worked at Fasco, Industries in Ozark in quality assurance for more than 30 years until its closing. After that she became a nurse’s assistant until health issues became restraining. Cheryl enjoyed sewing, gardening and caring for her dogs. Survivors include: her husband, John S. Willbanks of Nixa; children, John Willbanks and wife Dawn of Sedalia; Catherine M. Deckard of Springfield and Norman Davis of Nixa; grandchildren, Zane Deckard, Riley Deckard and Dakotah Davis; siblings, Cynthia Turner of Nixa and Charles Davis of Springfield; and nephews, Zane Chance Turner and George Davis. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents; and two nephews, Charlie Davis and Shawn Blakey. A memorial visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M. Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
