Chauncey William Pyle

Chauncey William Pyle Chauncey William Pyle, age 59 of Springfield, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 24, 2011. Chauncey was born December 20, 1951 in Westerly, Rhode Island. He was the third of eleven children born to Francis and Edith Pyle. He graduated from Evangel in Springfield, and received his Engineering Degree from the University of Missouri, Columbia. In this life Chauncey attended International House of Prayer, Kansas City. He enjoyed taking long walks with his brother Levi, riding his bike and traveling "� especially to his native home Connecticut. His passion and desire was to follow the will of the Lord and share God"�s love with others. To this end he worked tirelessly and finished his life race strong as a faithful follower and servant of Jesus Christ. He is preceded in death by his parents and his oldest brother, Francis Worrell Pyle, II. Chauncey is survived by his siblings Lucy (Pyle) Westfall and husband Bob, Branson, Levi Pyle, Springfield, Rose (Pyle) Hinton, Springfield, Enoch Pyle and wife Karen, Ozark, Tim Pyle and wife Amy, Connecticut, Sam Pyle and wife Brenda, Sparta, Dan Pyle and wife Susie, Ozark, Dorothy (Pyle) Logsdon and husband R. Lee, Branson, James Pyle and wife Cindy, Crane and Francis"� widow, Deborah (Pyle) Sherwood and husband Jay, Florida. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces who thought the world of him and benefitted greatly from his example and kindness shown on so many levels. Chauncey was an amazing brother and friend. He will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial will follow in Hopedale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 P.M. Friday in the funeral home.
