Charles Driver

Charles Driver, age 79, of Nixa, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2011. He was born July 14, 1932, the son of Floyd and Cecil Driver. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Roberta (Bobbie); and his parents; and two brothers, Floyd and Donald. Mr. Driver retired after 40 years at Kraft Foods. He was a member of North Nixa Baptist Church, he enjoyed gospel singing. He loved his family and especially enjoyed spending time with each grandchild and great-grandchild. Survivors include: Three children, Malory Driver, Springfield, Lynn Driver, Nixa, and Marla Driver Capoferri and husband Michael, Philadelphia, PA; two brothers, Roy Driver, Springfield, and Alva Driver and wife Leora, Springfield; four grandchildren, Missy Nevels, Mindy Nevels, Brad Dunaway, and Calin Driver; three great-grandchildren, Braidyn, Alexis Jewell, and C.J.; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with Pastor Jerry Francisco officiating. The family will greet friends following the service until 4:00 P.M. Inurnment will be Missouri Veterans Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children"�s Research Hospital.
