Charles Warren DeWitt

Charles Warren DeWitt, age, 76, entered his eternal heavenly home on December 29, 2022. He was born at home, in Chadwick, Missouri to Roscoe DeWitt and Dorothy (Newberry) DeWitt on December 25, 1946.

Charles met Carlyn on top of the hill in Ozark where they both fell deeply in love. After they met two months later, they married. He was a great man, husband, and the best dad, and best papa any child could ask for. The grandchildren loved seeing their papa and there was not a day that went by that he did not make them smile. He loved being outside and walking the hills of the ridge. Charles greatest joy was his family and he loved watching them walk in the front door to visit and spend time together. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-four years Carlyn DeWitt; his eight children, Angela and Kent Daugherty, Missy and Alex Harrison, Joseph and Angie DeWitt, Stevie DeWitt, Nancy and Seth Phillips, Kathy and Nick Mcmahon, Jennifer and JR (AJ) Rust, Amos and Samantha DeWitt; twenty-two grandkids and ten great-grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his parents Roscoe Albert DeWitt and Dorothy Ann Good, brothers Andrew Jackson DeWitt and Albert Ray DeWitt.
