Carolyn Phillips

Carolyn Lee Phillips, age 75, of Sparta, formerly a longtime resident of Ozark, passed away Friday, July 30, 2021. She was born December 18, 1945 in Anderson, South Carolina, the daughter of Ky Phillips and Ruth (Collins) Phillips. She traveled to many places with her military family, and enjoyed Ft. Leonard Wood, later moving to this area. Carolyn loved children and animals, and smiles came easy to her. She was a wonderful “big Sister” to her siblings. Survivors include: her children, Paul Clark Mugford, Phillip Andrew Mugford, and Jason Frazier; several grandchildren including Rayan Mugford; her sister, Barbara Christiany; and brother Jimmy Phillips. Her parents preceded her in death as well as a sister, Nora Ann Fitzsimmons. Private services are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
