Carla Jane "Janie" Amos

            Carla Jane “Janie” (Church) Amos, age 72 of Spokane, died April 15, 2023. She was born November 17, 1950 in Springfield, the daughter of James Rubin and Kenneth Joy (Cox) Church.              

            On October 17, 1969, Janie was united in marriage to Jimmie Amos.

Janie enjoyed shopping at flea markets and collecting antiques and getting up early to enjoy the sunrise.  She was a member of Riverdale Baptist Church of Nixa. 

            Survivors include:  her husband, Jimmie Amos of Spokane; two daughters, Jennifer Bookhout and husband Troy, of Ozark and Jill Hoener and husband Jeff, of Springfield; her grandchildren, Sydney Crim, Carson Bookhout, Dylan Hoener and Allison Hoener.

            Arrangements are under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark and cremation rites will be accorded by Adams Crematory, Ozark.
