Carl Jean Jones, of Nixa, Missouri, passed away leaving behind a legacy of faith, devotion, and strength on August 23, 2025, at the age of 79. He was born December 29, 1945, to Jesse and Susie (Rutledge) Jones.
He was the kind of person who touched lives in a way you seldom hear of—genuinely, fully, and with a presence that uplifted everyone around him.
Carl was a strong leader for his family, the kind of patriarch who guided with wisdom and loved without condition. His devotion to his wife of 60 years, Jeanie, was unmatched; they were inseparable partners who did everything together. If you saw Carl, you saw Jeanie. Their love was a testimony of commitment and joy, a model for all who knew them. Carl and Jeanie were united in marriage on September 11, 1965.
He was a proud veteran, having served in Vietnam as part of the 4th Infantry Division Engineer Group. The friendships forged in those years became bonds for life—brothers in arms who shared not only service but also decades of camaraderie and loyalty. Carl treasured those connections deeply and spoke of them often.
Carl dedicated 34 years of his life to the 3M Company, where he was a loyal and hardworking employee. He never missed a day of work, and along the way created countless friendships and memories that lasted a lifetime. His work ethic and dependability left a lasting impression on all who worked alongside him.
Carl also had a second family that meant the world to him: his Presley’s Country Music Jubilee family. He worked there for 13 years, and those years brought him so much joy. He loved them dearly, and they were an important part of his life, filling his days with music, laughter, and friendship.
Carl loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, pouring into them the same strength, kindness, and love that defined his character. Family was his heart, and he never missed an opportunity to show it.
Carl also loved the Lord. His faith anchored him, guided his steps, and gave him peace throughout his life. He lived with humility and gratitude, knowing that every day was a blessing.
Carl Jones leaves behind a life well-lived, a family well-loved, and a circle of friends who will carry his memory forever. His example of love, loyalty, and faith will continue to shine in the lives of those he touched.
