Carl H. Harper

Carl Herschel Harper, age 67 of Branson, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2019. He was born July 22, 1952 in Zanesville, Ohio, the son of Herschel James and Willa Lorene (Pinkley) Harper. On November 29, 1975 he and Ida (Grigg) were united in marriage. Carl served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1971 until 1991, serving on the USS Nimitz. He enjoyed bowling, and watching Ohio State games. Carl was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: he wife, Ida Harper; his children, Elizabeth Ann Harper and Rebecca Lynn Harper; his grandchildren, Joshlynn Harper, Makayla Harper, Anthony Harper, Lacey Stone and Angel Gracie Stone all of Branson; two sisters, Ruth Ann Huff, Lake Station, Indiana, Barbara Gessel, Zanesville, Ohio and Dorothy Thomas, Zanesville, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. Carl was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Pinkley. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. A visitation will be held from noon - 2:00 P.M. immediately before the funeral. Burial with graveside service will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday, November 18, 2019 in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
