Bobby Jack Harris, age 92, passed away July 28, 2026. He was born October 12, 1933 in rural Stone County, the son of Efton and Inez (Cox) Harris. He was a lifetime resident of Stone County. He married the love of his life, Sylvia Flood, on May 28, 1951.

Bobby Jack loved to farm and grew the best tomatoes in Stone County. He was a United States Air Force Veteran. Bobby Jack served four years of service during the Korean War. He worked at Paul Mueller 11 years. After that Bobby Jack was a Galena school bus driver for 13 years. His greatest passion and love was for God. Bobby Jack had a calling from God and was a minister until his passing.

Bobby Jack is survived by his wife of 75 years, Sylvia (Flood) Harris; two sons, Jackie Harris and wife Michele of Galena, Bobby Harris and wife Melissa of Galena; a daughter, Jill (Harris) Reinke and husband Tim of Nixa; eight grandchildren, Bobby Harris, Jr., Marissa McKnight and husband Kolbie, Alexandra Miriani and husband Tony, Leslie St. Clair and husband Caleb, Chandi Koeppel and husband Bobby, Dalton Reinke and wife Shiloue, Garrett Reinke and wife Abi and Jace Reinke and wife Ashley; 12 great grandchildren; and many other family and dear friends.

Bobby Jack was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Harold Harris and Billy Joe Harris.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Spokane First Baptist Church, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with Danny Call and Steve Eustler officiating. Burial with U.S. Air Force military honors will follow at Flood Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. immediately before the funeral at the church.
