Beverly "Arlene" Rees

Beverly “Arlene” Rees, age 85 of Springfield, passed away February 1, 2023.  She was born June 13, 1937 in Pretty Prairie, Kansas, the daughter of William Jennings Bryan Lintecum and Ada Katherine Elliott Lintecum.

On  June 23, 1957, Arlene was united in marriage to Charles Viet Rees in Nickerson, Kansas, who survives her.

Other survivors include:  her children, Debbie Rogers and husband John of Plano, Texas and Carl Rees of Boulder, Colorado; grandchildren, Austin Rogers of Dallas, Texas and Brandon Rogers and wife Lauren of Dallas, Texas; her sisters, Irene Brown of Hutchinson, Kansas and Betty Warner of Hutchinson, Kansas; and several nieces and nephews.

Arlene was preceded in death by her parents; and her other siblings, Murl Lintecum, Winston Lintecum, John Lintecum and Maxine Castle.

A private family graveside service will be held at McConnell Cemetery, Nixa, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.

The family would like to thank the caring staff at the Manor at Elfindale.
