Beth Ann Chase

Beth Ann Chase, age 70, of Ozark, Missouri, passed away July 23, 2026. She was born August 24, 1955, in Wichita, Kansas, to Robert and Junie (Sims) Cantrell.

Beth grew up in Everton, Missouri, where she graduated from high school. She attended the School of the Ozarks for three years before moving to Marshall, Missouri, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education and later her Master of Library Science in Education from Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, Missouri.

Beth married Monty Chase in Everton, Missouri, in 1976. They shared many years together until his passing in 2022.

Beth spent 32 years teaching and working as a librarian for Marshall Public Schools. She was proud to have spent her career in the same building, in the same room, and in the same spot.

After retiring from teaching, Beth began a quilting business called "Chase 'N' Quilts" which she enjoyed for 10 years. In 2023, she moved to Ozark, Missouri.

Beth was a member of First Baptist Church of Ozark, where she played in the orchestra. She also volunteered with the church's clothing ministry and played in the Marshall City Band. She loved quilting and reading, and above all, she treasured her family. Her greatest life lesson was that God is the one in charge.

Beth was preceded in death by her husband, Monty Chase; and her father, Robert Cantrell.

She is survived by her mother, Junie Cantrell; her daughters, Celtina (David) Reinert and Krystle (Casey) Chase Circello; two grandchildren, Evie Reinert and Fred Reinert; her brothers, Dan Cantrell and Dale Cantrell; and many other family members and friends who will cherish her memory.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2026, at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with David Hicks officiating. Burial and graveside service will follow at Sinking Creek Cemetery in Everton, Missouri.
