Barbara Ann Critzman

Barbara Ann Critzman, age 77, of Nixa, Missouri, entered into rest on January 1, 2023.

Barbara Ann was born on February 15, 1945, in St. Louis Missouri to the late Russell and Florence (Cook) Peddicord. Barbara was a devoted Mother, Grandmother, great grandmother, and Aunt. She enjoyed reading her Bible, going to church, and shopping. One of her first loves was music, she use to sing country western and her voice was beautiful. She once had the privilege of singing with Mickey Gilley in Nashville Tennessee. She gave up her dream to take care of her children, to her they were the most important thing in her life. She worked various jobs with various roles to provide for her children as a single Mom, days were tough, she persevered and kept her children together. Her final job was working food distribution and customer service for a local Sams club. She enjoyed meeting new people. She spent a lot of her time watching the Hallmark channel, she was a romancer by heart. She was a gentle soul who had so much love to give. Barbara was active in the choirs of the churches she attended as well as participated in local Christmas plays and shows produced by the church.

There is an irreplaceable void that will be in our hearts as each of her loved ones walk out our time here on this earth without her. Our hearts ache for her but we rejoice that she is home with Jesus and we look forward to living for all eternity with her where there will be no more pain or suffering under the rule of a Loving and Just King, Jesus Christ.

Barbara Ann was preceded by her parents, brother Marvin Peddicord, son Robert Schoenfeldt, and grandson Jay Bussard. She is survived by her children Brent Schoenfeldt, Kim Schoenfeldt-Weis (Chad), Russell Schoenfeldt (Christina), Debbie Schoenfeldt, Tammy Thomas (Donald), Michael Critzman (Shannon),  grandchildren Robert Schoenfeldt Jr. (Brittany), Kristine Miller (Ryan), Jennifer Schoenfeldt, Brent Schoenfeldt Jr., Breanna Ingalls (Clint), Ernest Randall Reels, Cheryl Yslas (Anthony), Robby Bussard, Charissa Bussard, Trenton Schoenfeldt, Chelsea Schoenfeldt, Chase Schoenfeldt, Amber Schoenfeldt, Amanda Graham (Randy), Austin Reynolds, Ashley Wood (Bodie), Leanna Thomas, Shalynn Thomas, Zechariah Thomas, Sheriana Thomas, numerous great grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Funeral service is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Visitation will be held the evening prior from 5 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at McConnell Bledsoe Cemetery.
