Anna Therese Lesh, born June 21, 1946, in Offenbach, Germany, lived a life defined by strength, devotion, and love for her family.

While in Germany, Therese met Ronald, an American Army soldier. The two married and welcomed their first son, Ronald. Eventually, Therese made the brave journey to the United States, where they settled in Norfolk, Virginia. There, she welcomed two more children, Douglas and Susan, and began building a life centered on family and hard work.

Therese was employed by AAFES, the military exchange store on base, where she worked diligently to help support her family. Following her divorce, she demonstrated remarkable resilience, working hard to provide for her children and ensuring they had what they needed.

She had a vibrant personality and a competitive spirit, especially when it came to bowling. Therese loved the sport and won many trophies over the years, a testament to her skill and determination. She also found joy in quieter moments through cross-stitching, creating pieces that reflected her patience and creativity.

In 1997, Therese moved to Bolivar, Missouri, to be closer to her grandchildren. Family remained at the center of her world, and she treasured the time spent with them. She remained in the Bolivar area for the rest of her life.

Above all else, Therese was a devoted mother and grandmother whose strength, independence, and love will be remembered by those who knew her.

Therese is survived by her sons, Ronald (Jackie Emory) Lesh and Douglas (Amanda) Lesh; grandchildren, Hattie Lesh, Chloe Lesh, Logan Lesh, Devyn Bess, Savannah Bess, Gavin Blankenship, and Chris Spiljak; great-granddaughter Adalynn Bess, ex-husband and best friend, Ronald Wayne Lesh; sisters Caroline McGuire, Doris Kunze, and Angelika Grundler; and brothers Hans Obmann and Bernd Grundler.

Therese is preceded in death by her parents; daughter Anna Susan Spiljak; and brother Karl-Heinz Grundler.

Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home and cremation rites are accorded to Adams Crematory.
