Angelina Todd passed away July 19, 2025. She was born June 3, 1942 in Merced, California, the daughter of Albert and Trinidad (Mesa) Castro, and grew up and attended school in Livingston, California. She excelled in home economics in high school. She worked as a doctors assistant after high school until she met the love of her life- Jerry and his three little girls, Carrie, Luwana and Kathy. They soon became a family and lived in Modesto, California. Angie and Jerry were married September 1, 1962.
Survivors include: her husband Jerry; daughter, Theresa Wilkinson and husband Darren and their children, Christy (Wilkinson) Small and husband James, Brandon Wilkinson and wife Marion and Cory Wilkinson; and her stepdaughters, Carrie Todd, Luwana Diaz and Katherine Todd.
Jerry and Angie were called into the ministry right when they came back from their honeymoon. They served as assistant pastors, evangelized and helped other Pastors and built churches for the next 30 years. Angie gave birth to Theresa and continued as homemaker until she was school age. She then started working for AT&T for 15 years, starting as an operator and then moving to the engineering department where she learned drafting.
She was gifted at gardening, sewing, crocheting, cross stitch and cooking. She made a name for herself with her apple pie and chocolate sheet cake. The family always wanted her fried chicken. She loved her kids even though they were far away. She looked forward to her calls from Theresa on her way to work. She was always there for the special occasions and milestones and always stayed involved with her family.
She was always happiest working for the kingdom whether it was teaching Sunday school, making peanut brittle, cleaning or yard sales. She always said yes. She was getting ready to help set up a church yard sale when God called her home. He had other plans for her.
