Andrew William Fritz

Andrew William Fritz, 51, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on February 25, 2026, in Springfield.

Born on December 13, 1974, in St. Louis, Missouri, Andrew was the beloved son of Thomas and Gail Fritz. He carried with him throughout his life the values of loyalty, humility, and quiet strength that defined the way he loved and served others.

Andrew entered the United States Navy immediately after graduating high school, proudly serving his country aboard the USS Cushing. His time in the Navy reflected his deep sense of duty and commitment—qualities that remained with him long after his service ended.

Throughout his life, Andrew found meaningful work in caring for others. He worked with autistic children, offering patience, steadiness, and compassion to those who needed it most. Most recently, he worked in residential housing maintenance, where his reliability and strong work ethic made him someone others could always count on.

Andrew was a quiet man by nature, but his presence spoke volumes. He loved motorcycles and found freedom on the open road. He was a proud member of Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA), standing strong in support of children who needed protection and courage. He was also a devoted fan of the Baltimore Ravens, cheering them on faithfully each season.

Above all else, Andrew loved his family. He treasured time spent with those closest to him and shared a special bond with his beloved dog, Penny, who was a constant and faithful companion.

Andrew is survived by his mother, Gail Fritz; his children, Raven Fritz and Dylan Fritz; and his brother, Barney Fritz.

Andrew is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Fritz; and his brother Dan Fritz.

Private services and burial will be held at a later date. The family is currently accepting donations to assist with funeral and burial expenses. Those who wish to support the family during this difficult time may contribute in Andrew’s memory, and the family deeply appreciates any kindness extended.

Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa and cremation rites will be accorded by Adams Crematory.
