Amy Jo Davis

Amy Jo Davis, age 56, of Highlandville, Missouri entered into rest on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Amy was born on June 29, 1966, in Springfield to Harold Andrews and Belinda (Butler) Norman. She attended Southwest Baptist University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked for Cox Health Systems as a RN for over 24 years. Amy was kind and compassionate. She showered her patients and family with love. She was united in marriage to James Davis on October 17, 2015.

Amy was baptized as a young adult. She was a current member of the Finley River Cowboy Church.

Amy was preceded by her father Harold Andrews, maternal grandmother Ferne Butler and maternal grandfather Joel Butler. She is survived by her husband Jim Davis, son Matthew Retherford and partner Ashley Bagby, granddaughter Shiloh Retherford, mother Belinda Norman and partner Ron Mease, as well as beloved church family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2022 At Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Following the funeral service, Amy will be laid to rest at Martin Cemetery near Spokane, Missouri.
