Allan Kulka

Allan Roy George Kulka, age 86 of Nixa, MO passed away May 21, 2024. He was born November 22, 1937 in Vegreville, Alberta, Canada, the son of George and Nancy (Shulba) Kulka.  He was pre-deceased by his brother James (Jim) Kulka of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada.

On October 14, 1963 Allan was united in marriage to Barbara Jean Brazeal. Allan earned his Chemical Engineering degree from Tulsa University where he met his future wife.  He worked for DuPont, AKZO Chemical America and Reichold as a chemical engineer before retirement. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and church family. Allan was an active member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.

Allan is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara of Nixa; children, Deborah Gerdeman and husband Brian of Aurora, Illinois, Doug Kulka and wife LeeAnn of Rogers, Arkansas, Dina Vance and husband Curt of Aurora, Illinois; seven grandchildren, Joshua Gerdeman, Emily Gerdeman, Mitchell Kulka, Anna Lee Kulka, Davis Kulka, Caitlyn Vance, Carter Vance; and nieces, Shirley Gibbs, Eleanor Fornataro.

Cremation rites have been accorded by Adams Crematory and arrangements are under direction of Adams Funeral Home. A private celebration of life will take place at a later date.
