Allan Lynn Batchelor, age 84 of Ozark peacefully passed away in his home on Friday morning July 4, 2025.
Allan was born on October 13, 1940 in Clifton, Colorado to Alfred and Bonnie (Burk) Batchelor. He grew up in and around Grand Junction, Colorado.
Allan moved to Missouri with the business he developed, Magi-Kleen Inc. and Mystic Maid Inc, doing the design work on carpet steam cleaning machines.
When this company dissolved, he stayed for the fishing and he went to work at Campbell Ford in Ozark until his retirement. He was a member of the Christian County Elks Lodge #2777.
Allan loved to fish and was on the Pro Team with Bass Pro. In the off season he attended seminars and participated in many engagements for Bass Pro.
In October 2015, by mutual friends he met his wife, Pat Philliber. They were married January 21, 2022, in Oklahoma.
Later in life he enjoyed going on cruises, playing cards and going to casinos.
For 20 years he enjoyed eating breakfast daily at Sands Cafe, (with his liar's club).
Allan was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 33 years, Nina Hammons Batchelor; a daughter, Annette Zahn; his brothers, Kenneth and Donald; and a sister, Shirley.
Allan is survived by his wife Pat; his son, Don Batchelor and wife Pat; his daughter, Barbara Richardson; stepchildren, Amy Byerley and husband Brian of Berryville, Arkansas, Chris Reynolds of Springfield; brothers, Bill Batchelor and wife Charlie of Amarillo, Texas and Eddie Batchelor and wife Teri of Grand Junction, Colorado; sisters, Vickie Lamb and husband Fred of Grand Junction, Colorado, Sharon Cheskaty and husband Jack of Grand Junction, Colorado and Bonnie Gayle Batchelor of Craig, Colorado; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Allan was a man of few words, but a very loving, kind and generous man. He will be missed by many.
A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:30 a.m., Monday, July 14, 2025 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark followed by a graveside service at 12:00 p.m. noon at Old Boston Cemetery, Oldfield, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Chaplain Byron Brown officiating.
Pallbearers; Chris Reynolds, Brian Byerley, Brandon Coyle, Garrett Bryant, Nolan Bryant, and Ford Byerley. Honorary pallbearers; Dennis Clinton, David Morrison, Jim McGillen, Gene Jarecke, and Jon King.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity donors choice.
