Agnes Merle Sullivan, Kopp, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2026, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 91. Born on December 19, 1934, in the Shakleford Community, Agnes grew up surrounded by the values of faith, family, and hard work that would shape her entire life.

Agnes was a devoted homemaker, dedicating herself wholeheartedly to the care and nurturing of her family. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering commitment to those she loved were evident in all she did. Throughout her life, Agnes found joy in the simple pleasures: preparing delicious meals for her family, baking treats from scratch, and sharing the warmth of her kitchen with loved ones. An accomplished quilter and skilled seamstress, she poured her creativity and love into every piece she crafted.

An avid reader, Agnes never lost her curiosity about the world or her passion for learning. Her faith was central to her life; she was strong in her Catholic beliefs and exemplified the compassion and integrity taught by her faith in all her actions.

Agnes’s legacy is most beautifully reflected in the family she lovingly raised and nurtured. She is survived by her beloved husband, George Sullivan; her sons, Chris Sullivan, Doug Sullivan, Brian Sullivan, and Scott Sullivan; her daughter, Dana Sullinger; her grandchildren, Makenna Schwein, Matt Sullinger, Brian Patrick Sullivan, and Zachary Sullivan; and her great-grandchildren, Kruz Schwein, Scarlett Schwein, Preston Sullivan, Kodi Sullivan, and Pierce Sullivan. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, whose memories she held dear throughout her life.
