Addie Mae Inman

Addie Mae Inman, age 89, a longtime resident of Sparta before moving to Springfield, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2010 in Webco Manor, Marshfield. She was born March 21, 1921 in Marshfield, one of seven daughters of Louie Elmer and Opal (Rost) Farr. She was united in marriage to Carl Inman, who preceded her in death in 1993. Four sisters also preceded her in death. Mrs. Inman was a member of Briar Street Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking for her family, writing poetry, and flower arranging. She loved her family and will be missed by each one of them. Survivors include: Twin daughters, Beverly Lolley and husband Greg, Strafford, and Betty Slavens and husband Ralph, Springfield; four grandchildren, Steve Throckmorton, Karen Throckmorton, Sarah Shelburn, and Mark Shortt; two great grandchildren, Clay Throckmorton, and Ava Shortt; two sisters, Dorsay Vorse and Pauline Dutton, both of Springfield; nieces an nephews. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, December 10, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial will be in Sparta Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 "� 7:00 PM Thursday in the funeral home.
