Linda Bowman

Linda Lea Bowman, age 63, of Springfield, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2013. She was born September 18, 1949, in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of Murl and Lois Irene (Blattel) Waterman. Linda was a 1967 graduate of Lebanon High School where she was surrounded by many friends and enjoyed numerous activities, including the honor of being elected Homecoming Queen. Linda treasured her family. They were always first priority in her life. She loved and adored her son and granddaughter, always spending as much time with them as possible. Linda was sweet, caring, and full of life. She gladly placed herself second to the needs of others. As a young child she was saved and baptized into the Second Baptist Church in Lebanon. She most recently attended North Point Church in Springfield. Linda enjoyed a successful career as a real estate agent/broker and started her own agency, Elite Realtors in Springfield. She enjoyed working with people and helping them achieve their dreams. Survivors include: Her son, Dustin Bowman and wife Jessica of Springfield; her granddaughter, Bentley Raine Bowman; her parents, Murl and Irene Waterman of Springfield; other relatives and many friends. A celebration of Linda"�s life will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Adams Funeral Home in Nixa. Friends and family are invited to join the memorial from 3:00 "� 5:00 PM to share stories and remembrances of Linda.
