Lee Manjeot

Lee Manjeot, age 88, of Nixa, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021. He was born June 25, 1932 in Spivey, Kansas, the son of Roy and Mary Elizabeth (Thornburg) Manjeot. He graduated from high school in Creighton, Missouri. Lee served his country in the U.S. Army. On December 16, 1956 he and Mary Belle Shulse were united in marriage. Lee and Mary moved to Nixa in 1957. Throughout his working career Lee was a salesman. He and Mary enjoyed spending time fishing whenever they could. Lee volunteered for the Nixa Senior Center, and looked forward to the dances. Spending time with his family was a great joy in life. Playing the card game Conquian was a favorite pastime. Lee always had a joke ready for anyone. His wife, Mary, preceded Lee in death in 2005 after 49 years of marriage. Survivors include: His daughter Kathy Manjeot of Nixa; a step-daughter Debbie Fabro of Billings; a step-son Kim Haskins of Highlandville; six grandchildren, Ashley, Kelsey, Celine, Denise, Marcie and John; and a great-granddaughter, Abby. Visitation and viewing for Lee will be from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Thursday, February 25, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
